Elizabeth City Municipal Court

The Elizabeth City Municipal Court is located at One Police Plaza, Elizabeth, New Jersey, 07201.  The Municipal Prosecutors are Lawrence Centanni, Patricia Mack, Vito Mazza, Tangerla Mitchell-Thomas, Norma Murgado, and Ashton E. Thomas.  The Municipal Court judges are the Honorable Roman A. Montes (Chief), the Honorable Carl L. Marshall, the Honorable Richard Obuch, and the Honorable Daniel J. Russell.  Court sessions are Weekdays at 8:45 a.m., Monday thru Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., and Thursday at 4:00 p.m. (DWI).  This is a very busy court in a very busy city; however, the court is generally run in a very efficient manner.  Driving while intoxicated and other traffic charges are very common, as are other criminal charges.
